I did ballet before you were born but as I recall I just couldn't do it. I spent most of the time sitting out. No sense of timing and rhythm. Overcame that when the King's Singers came along. I learned so much about music from them. Sorry about the previous comment. I just couldn't let it pass. You know me.
I never had the opportunity to take ballet lessons, but I have a feeling it would have been quite disastrous!
Snafu, it is on a piece of silver coloured card, which didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped. In fact, the whole thing is quite fuzzy and I am not sure why - maybe the 3-D effect was a problem for the scanner?
Ooh er! if you look at your blog it shows three comments but if you go to post a comment because it seems to have dissapeared there are seven, including my missing comment!
Not sure what's happening, snafu. I see it says 8 comments (now should be nine with this one) - all seem to be there ok. Hope you will try again and let me know!
I wonder if blogger is up to something. I think AJ talked about some changes coming?
Our lives are like a patchwork quilt; a work of art by a Master Designer. Life is made up of joys and sorrows; good times and bad; excitement and the daily grind. The underside of the 'quilt of life' seems to have little or no design, but the finished product is truly a masterpiece, and is the joy of the Creator.
Here is a place for me to share the 'patches' that make up my life. it may not look too great right now -- but I trust the One who is "working all things together for good" in it, will be pleased with the end result!
I am 72 years old. When I was a child, I was told by my art teacher in primary school that I would never be able to draw - so for 60 years I never tried!
Thanks to some great encouragement from my sister, a number of years ago, I actually tried - and discovered that I actually do have a bit of talent.
Art is a work of creation, that we inherited from our Creator. It is in our DNA in one form or another. I don't do as much as I would like to, but I will post my attempts, from time to time.
Over 100 incredible missionary stories from around the world. Read about their lives, their challenges, their joys and heartaches, victories and defeats! You'll laugh, cry, pray --and you may even be changed!
I never did ballet as a kid. I wasn't graceful enough.
